The Sage Bionetworks team of Network Biologists, Systems Biologists, Statistical Geneticists and Computational Biologists work on a portfolio of datasets to create validated health and disease models for use in drug development or clinical prediction.
We currently work with several large pharmaceutical corporations and biotechnology companies as well as a range of international academic partners. The research projects benefit both the specific collaborators and the larger scientific community because the results will also be accessible in the Sage Bionetworks Commons one year after the conclusion of the research projects.
The Sage Bionetworks projects span cardiovascular disease, cancer, metabolic disease and neurobiology. We have published more than 60 articles since launching, more than one per month.
Sage Bionetworks has also created a Center for Cancer Systems Biology <link> under the NCI Integrative Cancer Biology Program, which features a two year post-doctoral and ambassadorial program.
